What’s New With Adobe Acrobat X?

Have you ever thought of using an Adobe Acrobat X Standard Download? It has been around for some years now, but it is still worth looking into for its most useful features. Just by trying it out, you can tell that a lot of work has gone into the creation of this suite. The creative and technical teams spent a million hours hours developing the program. Adobe Acrobat X also came with Photoshop CS5, Presenter 7 and Media Encoder CS5 among sister suites that came out on the same year.

So what can you expect from Adobe Acrobat X?

First, you can expect a brand new user interface. In fact, this may be the first thing you notice about the suite. It is heavily different from its predecessors. You might be surprised to find that the menus are gone. But once you open a PDF, you will enjoy the simplified interface. You can find the tools you will most likely use in a pane that appears at the right of the screen. So functions that allow you to create forms, comment, security are easily located.

After looking through the new work space, you might be looking for several of the tools you need. If that is the case, you can go to Acrobat Help and find a portion called [Where’s my Acrobat 9 tool]. Once you get the help you need, Acrobat 9 menu commands are then linked with the Acrobat X panes. If you need to add all panels into the tools go to Options – located under “Share” – and select a deselected panel from the line-up. Additionally, you can access the tools you need by putting them with the Quick Tools area. This is located at the toolbar which is on top of the workspace. Instead of digging through different panels or multiple tool bars, you can customize the toolbar so that your working style is matched.

Second, Adobe Acrobat X is compatible with Office 2010! These include all the apps as well as certain programs that come from MS Project and Visio. This only works for Windows, however. But in Word and PowerPoint, you can incorporated different multimedia projects that are converted to .flv – what this means is that these videos can be played directly on a PDF file!

Finally, with the new PDF Portfolio Wizard, you can use new layouts, choose from a variety of themes and color palettes and choose from Portfolios that were created by third-party designers. You can create a theme by combining Flash and Illustrator. This way your company logo, you can incorporate YouTube content and other web media into the portfolio itself.

Take advantage of an AdobeAcrobat X Standard download today if you want to optimize your PDF creating skills.
